==Trivia==
*In the ''[[Spyro Reignited Trilogy]]'', the dragons have different colored eyes instead of them being green (red has pink, purple has blue), and they have the snouts and long whiskers based on a chinese dragon's.
*In the PC version of the ''Reignited Trilogy'', there is a bug, likely tied to framerate, that can cause the Dragons' animations to play faster than intended. This has effects beyond cosmetic, as this causes them to collide with their own fireballs, making it impossible for them to directly harm Spyro. This bug also causes the models of the Twin Dragons to be somewhat scrunched up like an accordian.

The Twin Dragons are a pair of Chinese dragons who first appear in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Both dragons are made up of round segments, and their bodies are colored red and purple respectively.

Strategy

The powerup next to Handel is the Superflame-Superfly Combo powerup; this time, the effects will last until you leave the area. The Fire Dragons will regain health if left unharmed too long, so focus on one at a time. Once you have destroyed both of them, Handel will give you a dragon egg (Evan).

Story

Spyro: Year of the Dragon

In Spyro: Year of the Dragon, the Twin Dragons are fought as a mini-boss at the Fireworks Factory. When the Twin Dragons try to attack Handel, Spyro faces off against them in a battle. Before doing so, Spyro has to pass through a Powerup Gate to receive the Superflame-Superfly Combo during the whole battle, as he not only has to fly after the Twin Dragons but also attack them by using his Superflame breath. The Twin Dragons have the ability to restore their health if Spyro leaves them unharmed for long enough. When Spyro defeats the Twin Dragons, Handel gives him a Dragon Egg, and a baby dragon named Evan hatches from it.

Spyro: Season of Ice

In Spyro: Season of Ice, there are segmented dragons similar to the Twin Dragons who are fought in each of the Speedway levels. The one in Stone Age Speedway resembles the red Twin Dragon, and it is unknown if it is the same character. The BradyGames guide simply refers to it as a "lava beast."[1] Spyro does not need any powerup to attack these dragons because his regular fireballs are already effective.

Trivia

  • In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the dragons have different colored eyes instead of them being green (red has pink, purple has blue), and they have the snouts and long whiskers based on a chinese dragon's.
  • In the PC version of the Reignited Trilogy, there is a bug, likely tied to framerate, that can cause the Dragons' animations to play faster than intended. This has effects beyond cosmetic, as this causes them to collide with their own fireballs, making it impossible for them to directly harm Spyro. This bug also causes the models of the Twin Dragons to be somewhat scrunched up like an accordian.
