Tin Soldiers[1] are hollow suits of armor that can be found in Haunted Towers in Spyro the Dragon. These enemies are animated by Blue Wizards.
Characteristics
Physical Appearance
Tin Soldiers are animated suits of armor. Some carry shields when blocking Spyro's path.
Behavior
Tin Soldiers attack Spyro by slamming their helmets on him.
Tactics
Tin Soldiers are fireproof, and are impervious to Spyro's normal charge. They can only be defeated by using either the superflame or supercharge powerups.
Trivia
- The tin soldiers have some similarity to the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz.
- In some rooms, they can softlock the player if they are bypassed without being defeated first, forcing the player to restart the level.
