Trivia
- During the opening cutscene of the game, Astor had Damon's voice.
- In several prototype builds of the original game, this dragon has no animation or dialogue. Instead, his statue disappears immediately upon collection.
- Damon's design in Spyro Reignited was originally an early design for Zander. However due to various reasons including name changes[1], Zander got a new design and his old one was instead used for Damon, a Beast Maker dragon. In the process, Damon's color palette was tweaked to match his original color scheme from the first game.[2]
- This also resulted in Damon's Reignited design, which was originally for a Magic Crafter dragon, looking out of place with the rest of the swamp-associated Beast Makers.
