Gnasty Gnorc (boss) (ナスティ・ノーク Nasuti Nōku 6-3 in Japanese) is a boss realm in Gnorc Gnexus, a homeworld in Spyro the Dragon and Spyro Reignited Trilogy remaster of the first game. It is where Spyro fights the main antagonist, Gnasty Gnorc.

Battle

The final boss, Gnasty focuses on keeping his distance by running and using thieves as an advantage. Here, all of the junk has been made into a large walkway around a Gnorc-made lake, with two entrances to a lava chamber and a maze of tunnels. Hint/Note: Gnasty runs fast for his size, so skip by holding down X and square to catch up to him.

In the lava chamber, the platforms are gradually receding. If the player dilly dallies (or not move quick enough on the moving platforms toward the end of the path), they will reach them too late and will not be able to land on time. They will then fall to their death in the lava which results in starting from the beginning of the level (since this stage contains do not contain crystal dragon checkpoints to backtrack and to autosave). An alternative way of Spyro's death is when Gnasty Gnorc uses his wand to zap Spyro four times.

There are no dragon portals and autosaves in this level, so a blunder will lead to starting the level all over again.

Trivia

  • Gnasty Gnorc is one of the only two levels to not contain crystal dragons, the other level is Gnasty's Loot.
  • In the late demo, this level is called "Gnasty Place," the music is that of the Artisans homeworld, it has double the amount of gems, has a fairy, various shortcuts used by Gnasty, has Gnasty drop enemies behind him, is missing Spyro's line, Gnasty doesn't attack Spyro, and there is an exit vortex.
  • Both this level and Dark Passage share the same skybox, although the former has it recolored to be a blue tinge in contrast to the latter's purple red tinge.
