Soldiers[1] are an enemy in Spyro the Dragon.
Characteristics
Soldiers are Goons equipped with a wooden sword and a metallic shield. Unlike Goons, who run away from Spyro if he is nearby, Soldiers try to attack Spyro if he is nearby. If a Soldier guards itself with its shield, it is invulnerable to Spyro's flame attack, otherwise it can be defeated from the attack. Spyro can also defeat a Soldier with his charge attack. Goons appear in Dark Hollow.
