Crystal Dragon

Template:Items (Original) Crystal Statues are one of the main collectibles in the game, Spyro the Dragon. Gnasty Gnorc turned all the dragons, except Spyro, into crystal statues, and Spyro sets out on rescuing all the dragons as well as recovering the stolen treasure.
The crystal statues can be seen rocking slightly as the dragon trapped inside struggles to free himself. In order to free the crystallized dragons, Spyro must step on the statue's pedestal and a white flash will erupt from it, allowing the imprisoned dragon to break free of his entrapment.
Trivia
- During the events of Spyro the Dragon, a few of the Dragons were imprisoned twice. Out of the five known ones that were frozen again (Cleetus, Cosmos, Magnus, Tomas and Lateef), three of them had physically changed after being freed.
- Cleetus's voice changed, and his color had become pale-green.
- Cosmos' voice changed as well, and his wings became bigger.
- Magnus's voice changed, along with his wings turning darker in color.
- Considering Gnasty Gnorc knows a spell that can turn gems into gnorcs, he probably was able to use gem material to imprison Dragons, meaning all the Dragons might have been in the green gem material.
- Trapped Dragons can hear everything around them while inside their crystal prisons.
