Rhynocs are a species of rhino-like creatures in the Spyro franchise that are usually under the command of villains such as the Sorceress and Ripto.

Characteristics

Apart from resembling rhinos, Rhynocs come in different shapes, colors and sizes. There are many varieties of Rhynocs that take after the worlds they wreck havoc in. Many of them wield different weapons, such as fireworks, snow-bazookas, pickaxes, flower pots, spades, etc.; all of which they use to attack.

Story

Spyro: Year of the Dragon

The Rhynocs serve under the command of the Sorceress, who ordered them and Bianca to steal all of the Dragon Eggs. The game has several Rhynoc mini-bosses and even a boss named Buzz.

Spyro: Season of Ice

The main antagonist is a Rhynoc named Grendor. He ordered the Rhynocs to capture all the fairies to try and reverse a spell that gave him a second head. In each level, there are two different types of Rhynocs that are specific to that level.

Spyro 2: Season of Flame / Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs

The Rhynocs are employed by Ripto as his minions.
