Trivia
- Many players consider the Devil Dogs to be some of the scariest enemies within the Spyro series.
- Their death sound when small are different from their death sound when they're large.
- In Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the character Zam has a skin that resembles a devil dog that was made obtainable in the Spyro & Friends Grand Prix.
- In Spyro Reignited, the Devil Dogs in their normal form were redesigned to resemble french bulldogs. This is because Toys For Bob have pet dogs all over their studio and didn't want Spyro burning little puppies.[2]
