Template:Characterbox Template:Q Lindar (リンダル=グリノマール Rindaru in Japanese) is an Artisan dragon who appeared in Spyro the Dragon.
Story
Gnasty Gnorc's Revenge
Lindar was notably the one who remarked that Gnasty Gnorc was 'a simple creature', 'no threat' to the Dragon Realms and then called him ugly. As a result, he and the other dragons (except for young Spyro, due to his small size) were turned into Crystal Statues. He was freed by Spyro at Stone Hill later on.
After completing Gnasty's Loot, Astor and Lindar can be seen in the background in the final cutscene playing sheepball, only for both of them to be turned into crystal statues again by an offscreen character. (Here we go again...)
Year of the Dragon
Lindar (or at least someone who looked like him) appeared in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. He tried to tackle Bianca to get back the egg she took, but Spyro flamed her into a hole and Lindar fell into it head first while attemtping to catch the egg, and became stuck. In the next scene, Astor can be seen trying to pull him out.

Trivia
- His voice during the cutscene at the beginning of the Spyro the Dragon is different from his voice when he is freed at Stone Hill. However, his voice at the beginning of Spyro: Year of the Dragon is similar to his voice when he is freed at Stone Hill.
- Much like how Spyro and Sparx are friends (and Titan and Red were prior to A Hero's Tail), it is apparant that Lindar and Astor are best friends, since they are often seen together as they were rescued in the same realm, and they were playing sheepball at the end of the first game (until they were turned into crystal statues again).
