Evil Spirit

Template:Characterbox The Evil Spirits are enemies in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. They have appeared only in the Insomniac trilogy.

Ripto's Rage!

In Colossus, an evil spirit is seen harassing the Professor. When Spyro approaches, the evil spirit flees, and Spyro has to flame all of the ten golden statues to drive away the spirit for good. When possessed by the evil spirit, the statues will be green and bear a sinister look. Flaming them will drive the evil spirit out of the statue, returning it to normal, and the spirit will take refuge in another statue until Spyro flames the last one.

Year of the Dragon

In Cloud Spires, the evil spirits have been keeping the bells from ringing needed to wake up the rain cloud. Spyro will have to use the Flight powerup to flame all of the evil spirits in order for the bells to ring.
