==Skylanders==
In [[Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure]], locked chests appear through the levels, sometimes behind elemental gates. The player known as the [[Portal Master]] in the game is the only one who open the locked chest by shaking the locks off in order to release the chest's contents, which contains gems, treasure, or accessories.

A Strong Chest depicted in Spyro: A Hero's Tail

Strong Chests appear in various realms in Spyro the Dragon and reappeared in other game installments of the Spyro series. Each contains many gems and is virtually impenetrable.

At the time of Spyro the Dragon, Gnasty Gnorc cruelly locked a good portion of the dragon's treasure in these chests just to spite them-- he had no intention of reopening them, as they are impossible for most creatures to open. Fortunately, Spyro can open them with a supercharge, opening them with a key, or by hitting them with sufficient firepower (like a cannon blast or a rocket).
