Question Mark Jars, also spelled as "?" Jars, are special jars that appear in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, and Spyro: Season of Ice. Appearing in eight realms, they are chasable jars that often require the player to back track the entire level.
In Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon, they release gems upon being broken. In Season of Ice, they contain silent NPCs.

- In an early demo of Ripto's Rage!, the jars had arrows instead of question marks. This was likely changed because some players could find the arrows confusing.
- If the jar is moved but not broken in Year of the Dragon, and the player enters a challenge portal, the jar will move back to its original spot.
