Whirlwinds are swirling sparkles of light in the canonical Spyro games, starting with the first game.
Location and uses
They spin Spyro upward, allowing him to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Sometimes, whirlwinds only appear once Spyro has completed a certain task.
